The Magic Begins - A Jupiter Twins Story

This Sleepiest bedtime story has been one of my favourites to write. It involves a magic school beneath the streets of the city where I live - Leeds. It's the first day of school for the Jupiter twins,  Lily and Jake, and they enter the magical school via the steps outside the town hall - which is opened by a stone lion who comes to life.

The second story in this series will be released soon.

These are photos I took of Leeds Town Hall and the steps which, possibly, lead to a school of magic.

A Home On Mars

I watched a lot of documentaries about possible homes on Mars before I wrote this Sleepiest bedtime story. It's amazing what scientist already know about the distant red planet and how, one day, it'll be possible for humans to live there. This story is about the first people who leave Earth behind and set forth towards Mars to build homes there.

Dreaming Of Barcelona

This Sleepiest story was a lot of fun to write and I got lost in research for days over Gaudi's amazing buildings.

This story concerns an architect who is looking for inspiration for his own work, and where better to go than Barcelona?

Steamboats Of The Mississippi

Sailing down the Mississippi is a dream of mine so writing a bedtime story about it is the next best thing, and I got to research the amazing works of Mark Twain.

Koko's Wish

What do koalas wish for? That's a question I set for myself when writing a bedtime story for Sleepiest. Koko the koala is the adorable mascot for Sleepiest and I've already written one story for him in which he learned how to play the ukulele.

Night Falls, Dreams Rise

My latest story on the fabulous Sleepiest app is about hot air ballooning over the magical landscape of Cappadocia. I had a lot of fun researching this one and could imagine myself drifting over the lunar-like landscape and the many enchanting fairy chimneys.
